Rebecca's decorating talent was featured in the Joseph Story 2002 Designer Showhouse in historic Salem, Massachusetts.

She transformed a homely little bathroom into an elegant and sophisticated "guest bath."

The room was kept uncluttered and serene and mirrors and silver were used as reflective surfaces to make the room seem larger. The use of the same vine-trellis pattern for the window treatment, shower curtain and walls also makes the space feel roomier. The original fixtures and tiles were retained in deference to the history of the house, but the unsightly tub and shower surround were resurfaced for a fresh, clean look.

The plum accents add an extra punch of color without detracting from the overall feel. A marble shelf by the window makes an ideal spot for family photographs as well as counter space near the free-standing sink.

Plush towels, a silky bathrobe, a lovely antique mirror, beautiful artwork, and a handsome bench to sit on while drying off after a luxurious bath or shower make guests feel pampered.
